China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) — Attraction in Wuhan

There are 3 campuses here. East, west and north campuses. Now they have also built another campus very far from here.

A small basketball court is just near to the building, gives you freedom to enjoy 🏀. The main sports ground is on the east campus （西区 xiqü). East campus and west campus are connected through a tunnel. The west campus has a lake, which is the best place to enjoy some more calmness in a tough stuy environment.

Living: Rooms do not contain tv or fridge (you will have to buy on your own). The laundry section is on the first floor, I used to pay 7 yuan for a wash and 7 yuan for dry. Hot water cards can be used from 6-9am and 6-9pm. For electricity bill you have to recharge the units by going to the building nearby, roughly 150-200 yuan for a month can be used on electricity. Cooking essentials will be your own, there is kitchen in the building containing free electricity, just use electrical appliances to cook there. after cooking, waste the garbage properly. Halal meat, fruit and vegetables, and supermarkets are nearby. Arabic shop is in the neighbour university (hust university) where a lot if other items can be bought too.

I have studied at China University of Geosciences, Wuhan over 9 years from 2009 to 2019 and obtained both my Ph.D and M.Sc degrees in Petroleum Engineering. It is one of the best Universities in China mainland where international students of more than 94 countries are studying in different fields. However, the study programs offered by the university and the staffs are the best beside the school environment. I do strongly recommend our international students to apply for both under and post graduate programs and you will get the best change to study there.
