Awesome place!! Visited at the right time (mid march) and the cherry blossoms (sakura) were blooming. This place is huge, buy the bus ticket inside if you don't like to walk. The ticket was 90 RMB, very cheap for what you get inside. Bring your photography equipment or drone. I saw at least 5 drones flying...

This is part on the course for the Wuxi Taihu Lake Marathon On April 13, 2014. Ran in the race in 2014 for the 21k and this was a great road race around the lake. The start line is a little off the lake but for the most part you go around the small part of the lake. The weather was great as well.

Excellent lighting !! Don't miss the air cracker show at 8:30 pm. Attached are some photos taken by me !! You just need to beware of going there on weekend, a big crowd will make it even difficult to walk !! Coming weekend will be a good time to witness the blossom.
