홍경궁(兴庆宫 55 Xianning W Rd, Beilin, Xi'An, Shaanxi, China 710049)은 당 현종이 양귀비와 함께 살면서 정사를 보던 홍경궁 유적을 홍경군 공원으로 조성하였는데 시안 교통대학교 맞은편에 있습니다. 홍경궁은 장안성의 3대 궁전 중 하나로 현종과 양귀비가 목단꽃을 심어놓고 감상하던 곳으로 유명합니다. 공원 안에는 홍경호로 이름이 바뀐 호수와 호수 가운데 인공섬에 세운 누각을 비롯해 당대 건축 양식에 의거하여 재현한 화악상회루 남훈각등의 전각도 세워져 있습니다. 아름다운 호수의 전각을 바라보니 당현종과 양귀비의 로맨스가 옥대교를 건너가며 여기에서도 꽃 피웠음을 느끼게 되고 양귀비의 체취가 코 끝을 스치고 지나가는 것 같습니다.

중국인들이 어떻게 즐기는지 볼 수 있는 곳. 춤추는 사람, 노래부르는 사람. 물붓으로 글씨 쓰는 사람, 그리고 계단 난간을 미끄럼틀 삼아 돌이 맨질맨질해질 때까지 타는 아이들.... 시간이 별로 없어서 천천히 다 돌아보지 못해서 아쉬웠다. 한 때 궁이었던 곳이 공원으로.... 중국인들의 삶의 한 모습을 볼 수 있어서 좋았음. 앗, 그런데...
