It is an interesting place to visit - having lived in SE Asia for years, it really wasn't anything super unusual - TONS of people, lots of food and all the typical trinkets and knick-knacks you see at every Asian junk stall. I was quite surprised at the limited choices considering there were 50+ food stalls. It was basically noodles - which were quite good, fried squid - which looks bad, but tastes ok, bacon and pigs feet - didn't try those and they aren't exactly a Muslim food, and some different types of ice cream/dessert things - some of which were tasty and some not so much. If you are looking for something similar to a grocery store, they have a few of those and you can get some fresh fruit there also. No beer or bars which you wouldn't expect at a place called Muslim Street. Apart from that all sweets and snacks we tried was awesome, prices are expensive obviously because it is tourist attraction site. Keep your eye on your pockets just in case.
