Took part in the Xiamen International Marathon as it is the largest Marathon in China having 43,064 runners this year. It is part of the Big 3 Marathons in China with Shanghai and Beijing being the others. Also this year the Couse Marathon record was set a 2:06:19 and is also a China Marathon record. The weather was perfect with this flat course and not unlike Beijing and Shanghai, there is no air pollution at all. 廈門市體育中心位於思明區湖濱北路東段，佔地面積約21公頃，背山面湖，環境優美，綠樹成蔭。周邊交通便利，鄰近湖里公園和地鐵1號線，適合市民健身。中心包括主體育場、游泳館、體育館和訓練場，設施齊全，可容納數萬人，燈光充足，空氣清新，兼具體育公園特色。該中心不僅用於體育比賽，還舉辦文藝演出，成為廈門東部綜合體育文化場所。
