If you want to see Pandas up close but without thousands of other tourists, go ti Bifengxia (but avoid Saturday and Sunday). This place is amazing! You can buy tickets on Trip.com. It is a bit confusing: there is the Panda Base, the Bifeng Gorge and Bifengxia Zoo (extra Ticket required). When you are at the visitor center, go to the right and take the free shuttle bus (brown) to the entrance of the Panda base. Inside you can just walk around, skip the green shuttle busses.
