This temple has long history. You can know the history and story of Monk 鉴真. But there is treasure few people knows here. That's Stone Monument with beautiful Chinese writing and painting. You can try to search all rubbing and it's original Stone Monument in the temple. It's really funny and know the beautiful along...

大明寺由南朝大明年閰建成至今一仟五佰多年，寺名改變多次，乾隆下讧南遊揚州改题為法淨寺，惜彼太平軍佔揚州並毁法净寺。唐代名僧鑒真大師宋渡前亦在此寺傳經授戒。187O1979年經過戰火，重建，修葺再擴建，避過破四舊，終於1979年修葺一新，198O年鑑真大師坐...

大明寺~由南朝大明年閰建成至今一仟五佰多年，寺名改變多次，乾隆下讧南遊揚州改题為法淨寺，惜彼太平軍佔揚州並毁法净寺。唐代名僧鑒真大師宋渡前亦在此寺傳經授戒。187O~1979年經過戰火，重建，修葺再擴建，避過破四舊，終於1979年修葺一新，198O年鑑真大師坐 像回國，複名大明寺。 今次到大明寺乘工幹之便細遊寺院，雖為國家4A级景區，但對大明寺親感绝對失望，少了寺院清樸，卻多了土豪式拜金土氣加持，只有庸俗和喧嘩，寺內內堂不停的廣播，装上Led燈告寺牌，內堂僧人和工作人員只在滑手機。在寺院廣場上也是，只是幾團旅遊團，各自拿着擴音器說着寺院麼史，遊客喧嘩聲不断，只是幾十人就將整個廣埸成為街市，將寺院成了金玉其外敗絮其中的遗址。 雖對寺院管理感失望，但寺院則西湖卻如桃園，山光水色，沒有特色建設加持，寧靜平和，本人在此享受這寧靜美景到夕陽西下。
