海宝塔，位于银川市兴庆区海宝塔寺内，坐西朝东，又称赫宝塔、黑宝塔，俗称“北塔”，是一座方形九层十一级楼阁式砖塔，通高53.9米，全部由青砖砌筑，占地386.6平方米，据考证始建于北朝晚期至隋唐年间。 塔由塔基、塔座、塔身和塔刹四部分构成，塔身约高48.2米，东壁辟一券门，券门前置卷棚歇山顶抱厦一间，塔门内留有方室，四壁正中设龛，供奉有罗汉像，塔身内部为上下相通的方形空间，逐层向内收缩，楼体四面转角处悬挂铁铃，塔顶为绿色琉璃砖贴面的桃形四角攒尖塔刹。
