浪巴浦土林位于云南楚雄元谋县新华乡，是当地13个土林群落中面积最大、发育最典型、色彩丰富、最具特色的一个。 从地质学上看，此地原为湖相沉积区，由于地质的特殊和气候的变化，形成了特殊的岩性组合。先是随着青藏高原的快速抬升，后再经过金沙江的冲刷切割，造成水土流失；夹杂在土中的粉细沙层、粘土层和少量的细砾石层溶蚀不均，逐渐形成了今天我们看到的峰丛地貌；土林形状有圆锥状、峰丛状、雪峰状、城垣状等等。高度一般有8—25米不等，最高达42.8米。不同的土层呈现不同的色彩：顶部以紫红色为主，中上部为灰色，中下部以黄色为基调，其间夹有褐红、灰白、棕黄、灰黑、樱红等色。各种形态的土柱混杂分布，姿态丰富多彩，变化...
