Huanglongdong Scenic Area: A Must-See Natural Wonder! Huanglongdong Scenic Area is truly amazing. They say it's the biggest cave in Asia, and after visiting, I can totally believe it! It's a massive cave system, full of stunning rock formations, colorful lights, and even hidden rooms. I was so surprised to see a waterfall inside the cave – that was unforgettable. Even though I visited in summer, the cave was quite cold, so definitely bring a light jacket. A big highlight was the underground boat ride; it felt peaceful and mysterious, a real must-do. The only thing they might need to improve is the lighting. Most of the lighting in the cave is done in a magical way, but some of the round lights are a bit annoying. Overall, the whole place is very well kept and gives you a surreal feeling, mixing nature, adventure, and a touch of mystery. I highly recommend it to anyone...

Physically Challenging and I won't recommend to anyone with bad knees, unfit or elderly persons.

Visited this Yellow Dragon Cave (Huanglongdong) on Monday, 11 March 2024 as the original optional tour "Fairy Fox Show" was cancelled (under renovations).

Only a short boat ride (less than 10 mins) inside the cave, but there's a long treacherous walk up and down the narrow, steep, wet, slippery steps uphill and downhill...

There's a total of 4 stages of physically demanding walking after the boat ride. Stage 3 is the resting point and short cut to the cave exit. But even that, it's still a long 20-30 mins walk from Stage 3 to the exit.

Kindly take note that the "rude" young lady cave Guide will not allow anyone to turn back and drop out, and will try to coax anyone to complete this long physically...

The area outisde the cave is nice as well there was a farm, river nearby, beautiful collection of ancient water wheels, inside the cave Involves walking for about 1 to 2 hours depends on how fast you walk and i think there is option the do less walk less as well by taking the boat back, we finished the full tour in 3 hours by 1 way boat ride and full walking in 3 hours its was wort it, we managed to do the tour without a guide but I guess local guides give cave...
