The nature is wonderful and I met there a lot of very kind people and people who wanted to take picture with me, ..or they just took pic of me.

TIPS it's good to deal with shoppers, because the water in the mountains is overpriced (5 RMB) - or buy water outside, near is a shop, it's cheaper have a fun and take a funny picture in some traditional Chinese dress if you have drone, you can use it here, it's worthy say "no, thank you" to random Chinese guider guys if you can't speak Chinese say "yes" to buying beautiful postcards of Zhangjiajie from famous photographer for 25 RMB it's enough to spend there 3 days... but 4 days are better! - you can enjoy more the nature,...
Read moreRead moreZhangjiajie (ZZJ) and Yangjiajie (YJJ) are both located in the ZZJ National Park. The connectivity in this park is very respectable- there are cable cars, buses (big & small) and walking paths to link you from one attraction to another. The only key criteria- you must be able to WALK!!! The amount of steps you take is mind blowing if you want to cover all attractions thus plan your trip well to maximise your stay in ZZJ. The attraction “One Step to Heaven” is an interesting Hiking trip when you reach the peak, I’d advise to continue the descent to the Cable car Base Station instead of going back using the same route....
The geology is impressive, it's best to walk up and down rather the take the cable car, elevator or shuttle buses, these areas are busy and noisy, away from the crowds is beautiful and tranquil. Beware that the shuttle buses don't take you out of this resort, so it you leave it too late in the day to walk out you will have to pay to get a cable car or...
