A fabulous ski resort which is very family friendly. I took my 2, 4 and 7 year old who all had a great time. Plenty of different ski slopes for all levels and a gonadal or chair lift to take you to the top, the staff was very helpful in aiding my 4 year old onto the chair lift. The night time sessions were especially fun! The day slope finishes around 430 and the night slope opens around 6. There is plenty of food and shops and a spa on site to have a great relaxing time. Our favourite feature was the soft play and childcare on site for a very reasonable price which absolutely saved the holiday when looking after our 2 year old. As with everywhere in china it can be hard to find people who speak Chinese as foreigners are next to non, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The only complete I have which is kind of the same complaint with most of China, is the relaxed enforcement to smoking, you can see people lighting up in the main halls without caring and obviously the toilets smell of smoke. The hotel rooms is a lucky of the draw when it comes to if the room smells of smoke or not. If china wants more foreigners with families to come they really need to tackle the smoking in places which are not allowed.

Great ski resort thats 15 mins away from taizicheng town, it offers hotels, food and ski in/out facilities. Ski pass for a day with gear on the weekend is ~700 yuan and food costs there range from 50-100 yuan for a filling meal. Their canteen is great with many options and rental gear is good quality. The facilities here offer all basic needs like water, tissues and seating. The slopes are varied and there are many routes for a wide range of skill levels, some of the black diamonds should have been classified as blues though. The slopes are icy and hard grip but its a fun challenge. Overall a great ski resort thats around 2 hours away from Beijing by high speed rail and a place i would go back to again.

the resort is generally good for skiing. the lifts are good. the hotels are almost comfortable but expensive. the rooms were very hot and we could not adjust the temperature. the weather was very very cold and freezing (-20C) and made it hard to enjoy the skiing.

Coaches and equipment are great. My eight year old brother learnt how to snowboard in just two days from the excellent coaches from E-up. Actual resort was fit for all levels, with a range of different heights. Amateurs can practice mastery at the 100m slopes magic carpet. Skiers and snowboarders at a more intermediate level can try the chairlift/gondola and try the various challenging courses that run for over a kilometer. Aside from being a little chilly, definitely...
