漳州土樓遍佈於漳州市的南靖、華安、平和、詔安、雲霄、漳浦等山區。它以造型奇異、風格獨特而被譽為“神話般的山區建築”。土樓的前身是唐朝陳元光開漳時的兵營、城堡和山寨建築，它是閩南地區在“外寇之出入，蟊賊之內訌”的特殊社會環境下的產物。漳州土樓以生土為主要材料，摻上石灰、細砂、糯米飯、紅糖、竹片、木條等，經反覆舂壓、夯築而成，一般高三至五層，一層為廚房，二層為倉庫，三層以上為起居室...
