One of very few attractions within Zhuhai downtown. It is a recreation of the burnt out originally Yuenmingyuen in Beijing, in a much much more compact size, but still large enough to spend a half day there. They were supposed to be a 30-minute lake cruise with performances at a modest price, but there were no takers when we were there in the morning, so it was cancelled. The complex also hosts lots of tourists entertainment sites: amusement rides, cable cars, water slides, etc. It's built mainly to attract tourists and definitely not suitable for history and cultural buffs. Really doesn't have those kind of cultural background it used to have. There's a lot of construction going on to build more entertainment facilities to cater to the taste of tourists.
