Pretty cool little place. They have a dedicated child are, but you’ll find kids all over except in the quiet area. The quiet area is for 18 and over and was very relaxing. Side note: they made a great whisky sour there too! The outdoor pools were very warm and crowded, but there was plenty of room to get around not be too bothered. The swim up bar was hard to find for some reason, it is downstairs. The swim up bar has music, water dancing by some, a whirlpool that is a blast to get in and shoot around the circle. The drinks are mostly rum based, but you can get several liquors mixed with tonic (I.e. gin and tonic etc.). The lockers are activated by your wrist band. Scan the band at the console in the lockers and it will tell you what locker number you are. Then go find that locker and scan again near your number, once that is done be very quick and apply light pressure to the edge of the locker and it pop open slightly. They are free with admission and large enough for shoes, a large backpack, towel, and even a coat and jewelry. The changing rooms are decent size. As it was so crowded my wife and I shared one and it was large enough for that. However I am a size 32” waist and my wife is a size 6, so anything beyond that and you may need a changing room each. Yes we bumped each other a lot when changing lol. The showers are good and have soap right next to each spigot. It’s push activated and lasts for about 20-40 seconds or so. Plenty of time to wash up each body part real quick before and after the experience. There are men’s and women’s toilets all over the place as well as smoking areas if you are a smoker. All in all a pretty good experience. Great views of the mountains from the outdoor pools. I’m sure in the warmer months this place is even more fun! If you go there expect a crowd year round, but it is definitely with a visit. If we still had small children (we are empty nesters of 4 children) this would definitely be on the “tire them out while they are having fun list). There are several restaurants and bars. They all looked decent but we didn’t try anything except the bar in the quiet area. We had no food, just the whiskey sours as mentioned, and they were approximately 38 Zloty each, which I figured was a fair price. Everything is charged to the wrist band and you simply cash out when leaving, then dump your wrist band in the slot by the exit area.

Tips and tricks: 1) There is a bus from Bus station (peron 5), which costs 9zł per person and as a bonus they give you 10% discount for tickets in Termy. The bus arrives right on the parking of Termy and there you can find it to go back to the town. 1.1) Parking is huge and free of charge. 2) if tickets are sold out online - you might be able to buy them at the place. 2.1) Be careful if you purchase 2 separate tickets one for pools and another for Sonarium, you’ll be able to use them one after another and not together (e.g. only after tiket to pools expires you can activate Sonarium ticket). To have an ability to go to both pools and saunas you need an Open ticket. 2.2) If you purchase ticket with access to Sonarium, you can rent 1 set of towels for free (1 to wrap yourself, another to put under the feet). It costs 15zł to rent bathrobe. ======= Now the feedback itself: We came on Saturday, around 14:30. Pools area is a disaster. It sooo crowded that you simply can’t enjoy it. People are literally everywhere and it’s very noisy inside. Pools outside are regular warm pools - not thermal, which you would expect if you go to Termy. There are 3 slides. Of course, there are queues. Thermal pools are round and look like jacuzzi. Normally people sit, but here people were even standing in the middle or were trying to squeeze in with any possible way. Sonarium area is nice. It’s non textile, meaning that you can’t wear your swim suite and must be naked or wrapped in towel. As it’s 18+ and requires either separate ticket or Open ticket - there’s much less people inside and you can relax. There are a couple of saunas with windows overlooking mountains. Food: Well, it is as bad as you can expect it to be in such a place. There are separate bar and restaurant in Sonarium are, so you don’t need to stay in queues. Staff: People at the info point and at SPA reception are very nice and helpful. Overall I would say that it isn’t something special, but if you are in the area why not.

On August 8th, my first visit to Chocholowskie Termy turned into a nightmare. My husband and I had bought tickets for full access, each ticket - 190zl. We headed straight to the sauna area to sunbathe on the terrace loungers. Shockingly, there were no signs warning us of any potential dangers, and within minutes of lying down on one of the loungers, I was painfully stung by a wasp in my stomach. It was a terrifying surprise. I had simply been lying still with my eyes closed, enjoying the sun, when I was attacked. Looking around in panic thereafter, I noticed dozens of enraged wasps flying nearby. There were two homemade wasp traps placed under a tree between the loungers, poorly made from plastic bottles, which seemed to be completely ineffective as many wasps were still active and dangerous. This incident was particularly severe as I am allergic to wasp stings and usually carry antihistamines and steroids with me, but I left them in my car not anticipating a need at the spa. The health facilities at Chocholowskie Termy were abysmally inadequate; they lacked a real first aid kit and had no professional medical staff on site. The only assistance offered by the lifeguard was a soluble diet supplement tablet with vitamin D, calcium carbonate, and herbs, which was absurd and inadequate for my allergic reaction. My condition worsened, leading my husband to rush to our car for my emergency medication. Let me stress the dangerous lack of preparedness for such incidents: no professional medical personnel and insufficient first-aid resources. If I had suffered an anaphylactic shock, the situation could have been life-threatening. I wasn’t able to use any saunas or warm pools after the incident. The response from the staff was underwhelming; they provided ice in a rubber glove and nothing more. No real action was taken to address the presence of wasps or to improve the situation. Moreover, the staff prohibited taking phones to take pictures of the homemade traps on the terrace (which once again confirms, everyone is aware of the problem, yet no steps are taken to solve it). We paid 190 zl per person, and for such a pricey ticket, it is unacceptable that proper wasp traps are not installed. Management and sauna zone managers need to take immediate action to ensure guest safety instead of assuming risks until a fatal incident occurs. There were no apologies or compensation, and the staff seemed accustomed to this issue, which suggests a recurring problem. Visit at your own risk, especially if you have allergies. This was far from the relaxing day we anticipated.

These baths left me confused. They are well built and well organised but left me wondering whether it was really worth it. I liked it BUT compared to the size of this place, investment and number of services offered I can surely say that it is best to avoid it and seek separate services in different locations instead in this One Stop Shop place. Let me explain - 01. Accessibility is good. Well-built road network, plenty of parking, and very easy to locate. 02. This place is designed for Polish tourism in mind. Although English is utilised throughout the premises, there was no attempt to help us, foreign tourists, to understand the rules and regulations, walk us around, and explain what we need to do. As a result we failed to relax and enjoy the place due to the many rules that we had no clue about. Adding to that, personnel was not really understanding. 03. Sauna regulations are either naked or naked in towel. Genitalias all over the place with some older ages completely living their nudist dream. Although its understandable in some degree i think its not the healthiest strategy. Saunas rooms are good and clean. They do not have ice saunas nor cave saunas but there are enough for most preferences including natural salt room. 04. Massage services are confusing. The actual massage professionals are pretty good but the process is very poor. Just lead you to the room, do the massage, finish, close the door and disappear. There was no shower nearby to get the oil off my body and nobody to stay around till they make sure you are feeling good enough to go down the stairs. I do not see real value here. 05. Ground floor pools are massively overcrowded with all adults, families, and children stacked together in a big water festival mess. If this is what you seek, then you found your place. I strongly advise separating adults and couples from family and children but I doubt anyone is listening. Conclusion - This is a place with an Aquapark culture trying to offer extra services which will feel unrefined and mass produced. If you are a foreign tourist, I strongly advise researching further before visiting this place.

This thermal bath exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by a serene atmosphere and stunning surroundings. The thermal baths were, crystal, clear, perfectly warm, and incredibly soothing. The outdoor pools were amazing, where I could soak while enjoying breathtaking views. But it was cold outside so make sure to keep your shoulders underwater. The facilities were spotless, and the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a top-notch experience. Whether I was floating in the outdoor pools under the open sky or enjoying the therapeutic jets in the indoor baths, every moment felt like pure bliss. There were a lot of people around but this place was so big it did not feel cramped. My favourite part about the whole experience was the jumping bath pool. It’s this circle bath with an opening and people stand on either side of the bath and jump. The water moves back and forth and you jump with the water, quite an experience. The hot baths were amazing, and extremely hot, it was so relaxing I wish I could experience it again for the first time. Overall, this place is a hidden gem for relaxation and self-care. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a solo wellness retreat, or a fun day with friends, this thermal bath is a must-visit. I left feeling completely renewed and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and recharge.

We visited Chochołowskie Termy on Friday afternoon and purchased a 4-hour open ticket. We got 10% discount through promotion from our hotek. At the cashier desk, we were informed that the Saunarium area is an adults-only zone. The place is large, and it took us quite a while to explore all the pools and attractions. One of our favorite moments was swimming in the hot water outdoors while it lightly rained — a truly refreshing experience. We also enjoyed drifting along in the wild river, which was both fun and relaxing. There’s a bar in the pool area, and a restaurant on the floor above, but we were so excited exploring the pools that we didn’t take time to eat. The zone with internal pools and saunas is for adults only (16+), which makes for a quieter, more peaceful environment. In the Saunarium (18+), you leave your swimsuit in the other locker room and receive two towels: one to wrap around yourself and the other to place under your legs on the sauna’s wooden benches. This helps keep your body from direct contact with the wood, which is both hygienic and comfortable — it's the traditional Polish style for saunas. One of the highlights was the salt cave made from salt blocks, with salt under your feet — a fantastic place for relaxation. P.S. On our way to Chochołowskie Termy, we saw a lot of crocuses covering fields near the houses of citizens — such a lovely sight to see! Overall, we had a wonderful time and a memorable experience at Chochołowskie Termy.
