Medellin is naturally beautiful, this is a manicured park. It is a great family park, may you have time. If you are seeking an amusement park, this is not it. It is more of a pristine a little of this and a little of that. There are kayaks, but the lake is short. There are rides, but the park is small. And swimming, but this is not a water park. Mostly, a nice walk through the park with activities for your kids-Colombian kids are quite behaved or chacleta.
