Review as a museum and experience, not as accommodation.

This site is located just across from the El Infiernito archeological site and is well worth a visit.

Our experience was that of a guided tour conducted by Natalia, a director I believe, and Maria who handled the astronomical aspects.

A mock up of the solar calendar / observatory was used to help explain how the site may have been used by the Muisca people. Following that interesting presentation we were shown Muisca artefacts, a reproduction dwelling and information about the history of the site and the Sol Muisca project.

The presentation was in Spanish, but some English is spoken and the posters are partially in English. From 7.00 - 9.00pm the site offers astronomical observations with a telescope, but we couldn't try as it was too cloudy.

Recommended and I suggest going before visiting the park as it provides...

Would have given it a better rating if it would have been open! It is across the road from the ancient site of the Muisca Observatory! Also known as little Hell! Worth a visit was hoping to take the tour of the Rebuilt temple to the Sun that was destroyed by the Conquistadors during the 1500's. here are some pic of...
