⚠️ Warning for tourists ⚠️ If I could leave a ZERO star review I would. This finca has a very concerning culture of extorting visitors, lacking transparency, and exploiting nature.

When our group arrived, we were rudely received but decided to stay in the outdoor area. They offered us “free coffee,” and when we asked about other drinks, we purchased 4 beverages. What should have been a bill of 60,000 COP suddenly became 150,000 COP. They claimed we had to pay an admission fee simply for buying drinks, something never mentioned beforehand. This is dishonest and takes advantage of tourists.

The only pleasant part of our visit was seeing hummingbirds up close. Sadly, we later realized they were feeding them sugar water. This practice may attract the birds for show, but it seriously harms their health. Unlike natural nectar, sugar water lacks essential nutrients, weakens their immune systems, and can even cause infections and deformities over time. What looks beautiful to tourists is actually very damaging for the birds.

🚫 Overall, I do not recommend this finca. They extort visitors, lack transparency, and exploit wildlife in harmful ways. Until they change their practices, they will continue damaging not only Colombia’s tourism reputation but also its natural beauty.

They are charging Colombian citizens $30,000 COP for entry and tourists $60,000COP (double) simply for driving up the driveway to...

This is a most for birding in Colombia, with endemic and rare species this one of the spots to visit when you in Colombia, this places has hummingbid and Tanager feeders and is special for groups of birdwatchers and photographers tha will enjoy marvelous views of the endemic and so stunning Multicolored Tanager thst comes to the banana feeders and also to the hummingbid feeders, for sure more than 40 species between humminbirds and tansgers visiting just the feeders, this with out mention that suddenly can appear Crested Quetzal, Golden-headed Quetzal, Ornate Hawk-eagle and more birds of this Km 18 cloud forest where Finca Alejandría "The Hummingbirds Paradise" is located. I invited everyone to come this fantastic place, this is also for famillies, grouos of friends and good Argentinian BBQ is offered there.

Hope you enjoy...

This is a must visit spot! I've never seen so many hummingbirds in my life, and you're able to see them so up close and personal. It's an incredible experience. They provide complementary coffee, and we ordered vegetarian breakfast. On top of a big area with tables to sit, there are two trails (one more steep than the other well-maintained trail) to see other species. There are signs (in Spanish and with Latin names) to help identify species. One thing to note is that this is the most popular spot in the area so there are many tourist groups coming and going throughout the day. However, it's still worth a visit! There's also a cabin and rooms to stay in - I wish I had planned to stay overnight. Finally,...
