We visited Hacienda Coloma during our recent visit to Bogota. It's roughly about 1.5 hours from Bogota without traffic. But of course, there is traffic so it took us about 2 hours.

We booked directly with Hacienda Coloma via WhatsApp and they recommended some drivers to us. We picked one and he was great. Pick up, wait, and drop off for 350,000 COP.

We arrived for our 11am tour and was paired with an English-speaking guide. She was absolutely amazing. We learned about all the plants on the property and the entire coffee making process. We were able to pick some of our own fruit and she walked us through how it would be processed. At the end, we had a coffee and liquor tasting.

I honestly learned so much about the coffee making process in Columbia and I would highly recommend making the trip out to Fusagasuga to visit...

It was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was great, informative, and pleasant to talk to about the local culture of the area.

We were a group of four who took the tour. We were shown around the grounds and learned about the process of making coffee. We also got to learn about their rum and we got to do a taste test. We then moved on to tasting their very delicious coffee, coffee liquor, and Cream of whiskey type drink. They were all great. At the end we got to have lunch and have a traditional Columbian meal which all three courses were fantastic and delicious.

I would recommend this to all who would like a little adventure into...

It is extremely pleasant visiting this Coffee farm plantation, the landscape is beautiful, and when visitors notices the shadow plant method it's what you will notice in a tasting test at the end of the tour, giving you a better mindset about this lovely work involving even family members, making this a very warm and unique experience to those who would love to dive into a peasant experience while in a Coffee...

The place looks gorgeous! But the experience of coffee is more for walk and know about plants 🪴 the coffee plants look really sad and without water 💦 The dogs and the hens are in a place like cage, for this reason the dogs are considered “dangerous” because is not possible have the chance to feel free to walk around of the farm. The coffee doesn’t have a method just was put on a carton glass and we drink. The place is beautiful why not? But the experience not was the experience I thought! I hope you have a nice experience than me!
