If you want to spend a day surrounded by amazing nature and close to Medellin, El Parque Ecológico Piedras Blancas is that place. To get there, my advice is to ride the Metro de Medellin Linea A towards Acevedo Station. Once you get this station, take the Metrocable Linea K and then transfer to Metrocable Parque Arví Linea L and njoy the great view before getting to Parque Arví. In this park, there are Comfenalco buses that take you directly to Parque Piedras Blancas. Get ready to walk through the pathways full of flowers and sounds of nature. It is also a great chance for kids and adults to learn interesting facts about butterflies and other insects when visiting the Butterfly Sanctuary and the Entomological Museum. When it comes to food, there are some kiosks to have a barbecue, specific areas to have picnics and a restaurant as well, so you can either take your own food or get it there. If you like rowing boats, you can also do it there. The small dock is close the bridge that connects the park to the Entomological Museum. While rowing your boat, keep enjoying the fantastic view offered by the nature of this Antioquia region. In case, you want to spend a night at the park, it is also possible at Hotel Piedras Blancas. No doubt, you, your family, and friends will have so much fun at Parque...

Installed on one of Medellin highest hills, this beautiful and tranquil park is plenty of things to do: canopy, kayaking, butterfly's sightseeing, barbecue grills, pets training camp, restaurant, hotel and many more.
Here is usual to have availability for environmental speeches and meetings to attend to.
One of the places to visit when coming to Parque Arvi, traveling in metrocable thru the metro railway system of Medellin. From the station upside, there will be a bus from the Comfenalco Piedras Blancas park waiting to pick you up and take you.
Great for families or friends. You can grill your meat and buy some beers from the cafeteria on a...
Read moreDon't bring your family here if you want to rest. I'm with my 2yr old and can't sleep because other people are listening to loud music 10pm. Not even the guard says anything to them. Also, parking is terribly inconvenient. You have to register at the hotel, then drive somewhere else so you can drop off your camping gear and this is not even close to the camping site. Then you have to drive again to another spot to park your car and then again walk to the camp site. Literally impossible if you are alone with your child. Whoever thought of this has never been camping and has never dealt with kids on their own. My daughter likes it, but not sure I'd put up again with the hassle. The music and parking...
