This is the main central plaza in town. You can find the City Hall, the courts, law offices and other businesses. The trees are pretty amazing! There is a 100+ kapok tree in the corner. You can walk to the music conservatory a couple of blocks away. The Art museum is a little further away about a 20 min walk.

Esta muy bella la plaza. Que puede mejorar, claro. Hace faltaas cultura ciudadana para cuidar lo que hay. En buena hora la administración municipal le tiene un espacio dedicado sólo para los niños; para caminar y hasta para las bicis, con una ciclo ruta alrededor de la plaza. Necesita ciudadanos que la cuiden y la valoren. Tiene una Sequoya, de apenas 4 metros, además de unos Samanes inmensos y la monumental Ceiba. Los invito a disfrutar de su belleza. Es de las mejores plazas de Bolívar del país que conozco.

Esta muy bella la plaza. Que puede mejorar, claro. Hace faltaas cultura ciudadana para cuidar lo que hay. This park has the tallest and leafy mangoes trees in a public space I ever seen! It also has ancient and big acacias . You really has to stop and take a look of the vegetation and carefully listen to the birds around. The chapel is a beautiful place and there is a corner for eating great typical amasijos...

It's a place with so much historical value, the origins of ibagué remain in this place. Around the place you can find restaurants, icream places, a bakery and even a Subway. Really recommeded place to hang out with your friends...
