Best coffee experience I've ever had! From the beginning of the tour you get an amazing view with a cup of their original coffee. During the tour you get to walk through the coffee fields and explore more of their terrain. They have room for people that want to stay the night in the fields, which I will definitely come back to do! Also, thank you to Santiago for giving us the history and stages of how coffee is produced and all their different agriculture produced on their land. The terrain is intermediate on some areas, but Santiago was very patient and careful with us making sure we were always good. After walking the fields, the tour includes a very delicious meal made with products produced on their land. We had pumpkin soup, roasted vegetables, and pasta with ground meat. After dinner, we had another more in-depth of how the different grains taste like after being brewed and the different ways to enjoy coffee in the brewing making. Honestly, if I can give this spot more than 5 stars, I would!

Only downfall is getting there, it is a steep hill and the entrance is even steeper. So take that in consideration with the vehicle you are driving with to get in. But don't let this sway you away, it's definitely a great...

We did the tour, which takes a few hours, and stayed overnight for two nights. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience.

Ivanov, who speaks perfect English, is passionate about what he does and it shows. The tour groups are kept small, which gives it more of a “real” feel and not a commercial type of experience.

The accommodation is simple but proper. The beds are comfortable and there is a functional shower and toilet. The view in the morning is fantastic. Bring plenty of sunscreen and wear a hat though, even when if it seems the sun isn’t shining.

I also would like to point out that the food served to us was awesome...

Visiting Finca Tio Conejo is a must do for coffee lovers. A real and authentic experience from when you walk in till you leave! You will learn a lot but not only about coffee, also about the Colombian culture and how the history and the production of this ancestral drink has led the life of the people in this area. The family and whole team makes you feel at home! With their warmth and patience they explain in an easy but thorough way all the details of coffee growing, processing and brewing.

After this experience you'll never take coffee for...

Visiting Tio Conejo and meeting the Castellanes family was a pivotal moment in our trip to Colombia. From the first WhatsApp message the night before our visit it was clear that it will be a special experience. You should be prepared for the entire day of adventures with old friends. And if course this will include amazing coffee, great landscapes and the real Colombian food. The warmth and kindness of those people will make you feel a part of their big family. Muchas gracias a Ivanoff, Angela y especialmente Santi. Un abrazo muy fuerte a ustedes todos.
