Casa Negra Viewpoint — Attraction in Medellín

Very nice bar and mirador. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset. It has beers and nice cocktails like micheladas. Beyond the view, it is work going for the cool crowd (young folks, local and international) and the cheerful atmosphere.

PS I read comments from tourists calling the neighborhood “dodgy”. True, it is a deprived neighborhood, with an inspiring history of resilience, but the neighborhood’s resurrection also passes for the strength that the community had to keep its own neighborhood safe and welcoming: also at night (I was there at 9pm), it’s full of people out in the street and keeping an eye on things. The bar can be easily reached by taxi and Uber, and one can go back downtown taking a taxi cab from the very lively square...
