The park is a lot bigger than the cages for the animals. There is plenty of space yet the cages are disproportionately small relative to the massive ground to roam, and what an animal could use to feel happy. This place could be wonderful if they enlarged the size of the cages and dwellings of the animals. There is a lot of flora and fauna and nature to enjoy here, (so much so that you almost get tired of walking long distances) sufficient for enlarged closings of these beautiful and lovely creatures, who have resigned themselves to a few meters and greatly demeaned "life." We can immensely improve the quality of life for these rescued animals if initiatives are set forth by animal advocates and passionates. The majestic black panther was enraged and helpless.

The upside is that some animals were ok to roam around freely, including a few guacamayos. There is a very lovely and very lonely guacamayo in the mariposario close by, and they are currently looking for a pareja for him. I wonder if perhaps the CEA could be of support.

As for the guide, it seems he's overworked and I wonder how many guides they employ and rotate. I also would have appreciated more time in some of the stations, as it seems the guide would finish talking, not cover many of the obvious questions that would arise, and immediately move on to the next place. It felt quite rushed in some of the most interesting parts and also spent too much time in places where there was nothing of interest

English ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A hidden gem near Mocoa. For just a few dollars they give you a guided tour of the animals they rescue from illegal trafficking. Only about 5% remain in enclosures; the rest are rehabilitated and released. The place is educational and inspiring. Don’t miss meeting the red howler monkey who lives free but loves to welcome visitors at the entrance – unforgettable!
