Cañón del Río Barbas — Attraction in Quindío

Difficult to get to without a Jeep. You just have to drive to the point on this map, then walk down to the river, then take the small path on the right (the path is a bit difficult because it's very small). After a while, you end up in a small but beautiful finca (farm) where the lovely people sell coffee and lunch. After the farm, the path doesn't really continue. We went on this trail for the monkeys, and eventually we saw 6 monkeys on the way back. They are very discreet, but if you see leaves falling just look up !

You need a 4x4 lifted SUV to make it through. In the picture, the road ends there. After this, its unpaved and very steep. Also, getting there was sketch too. These roads are not developed at all. We only saw one dude fishing when we got to the river....
