Mirador Tambo el Privilegio — Attraction in Santa Rosa de Cabal

Mirador El Tambo is a destination I would definitely recommend for its stunning views of Pereira. The panorama from this spot is truly amazing, offering a unique perspective of the city and its surroundings. The place itself is quite nice, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing visit. However, my experience at the coffee shop was less than ideal. There were noticeable struggles in taking orders properly, and the attention received was not up to the mark, particularly with the person at the counter. On a positive note, the ice cream place at Mirador El Tambo features really friendly staff, and the prices across the venue are fair. I tried a cappuccino and a butter croissant and was quite pleased with both. They also sell some gift items including coffee, sweets, and a few stuffed animals.

Service was polite and helpful. Bathroom was clean. They ran out of a few things on a Sunday night, but the weather was perfect and they were packed.

View was absolutely fantastic. Great place to watch the sunset while sipping coffee. Plenty of seating, plenty of space. Parking was the only limitation, and we didn't have to wait too long for a spot.

The Tambo gives one a good view of Dos Quebradas and part of Pereira. A pair of binoculars helps to zoom in and get a better idea of the area. The management, however, really missed the ball on coffee. With such a wealth of coffees in the region one would expect to be offered one of the finer varieties. This is not the case. Their coffee products are made from instant coffee!!! Really??? That is embarrassing. One can take in the view, which is excellent, but I'd suggest getting your coffee...
