Viñedo Umaña Dajud — Attraction in Vereda El Espinal

We had a tour in english with Harold and it was very nice! The guide explained a lot and helped with every question. We could see the vineyards, the different grapes, how the wine is produced and stored. It is very interesting for both, experienced wine drinkers and beginners;) At the end of the tour we were able to try the different wines. Therefore, we got books to make notes to be able to compare the wines and again the guide explained how to taste wine correctly. And of course we had food/snacks to accompany each of the wines. We had the great pleasure of visiting this wonderful Vineyard on the outskirts of town. We were very impressed by the picturesque landscape and the welcoming operation they run.

The level of attention to detail and service is world-class. I would highly suggest anyone go for a winetasting or a tour of the facilities. The staff was very knowledgeable and took their time to teach us all about the various wine varieties they carried and about the wine making process.

Mi visita al Viñedo Umaña Dajud fue, sin duda, una experiencia que recordaré siempre. Desde el momento en que llegué, el equipo nos recibió con una calidez excepcional, transmitiendo su pasión por el arte del vino. Nos guiaron a través del fascinante proceso de cultivo y cosecha de las uvas, explicando con detalle las características de sus diferentes cepas y cómo estas se transforman en botellas de vino únicas y memorables. Lo que más disfruté fue la cata. No solo fue un deleite para el paladar, sino también una oportunidad para aprender. Nos enseñaron a degustar un vino con atención a sus propiedades, a identificar sus notas distintivas y a reconocer el maridaje perfecto. Cada sorbo fue una experiencia enriquecedora, y cada explicación estuvo llena de paciencia y conocimiento.

A pesar de la lluvia y el frío, el equipo nunca perdió la sonrisa. Su amabilidad y disposición crearon un ambiente cálido, donde la paz se respiraba en cada rincón. Fue fácil desconectarme de la rutina y simplemente disfrutar del momento, acompañado de vinos excelentes y una tabla de quesos que, como el resto de la experiencia, fue inigualable.
