We’re so happy to see that the zoo has been renovated and is being well managed and cared for! There is a nice selection of animals (monkeys, birds, some farm animals like donkeys, ducks and sheep, snakes, rabbits, crocodiles, porcupines...). The animals seem cared for and fed, and the cages were clean. An improvement could be having more in-person education about the animals in addition to the informative signs by the cages. A zoo is a great opportunity to teach and inform about the wonders of nature!
But besides the animals, there is certainly lots of entertainment here! On a Saturday especially you may see groups celebrating birthdays, and everyone dressed in their finest. There are several playground areas with swings, slides and all manner of things to climb on, including a climbing wall. There are benches placed around in the beautiful scenery to just sit and relax alone or snack with friends. It’s beautifully landscaped, with bamboo and plant-lined paths. There are still some rougher, overgrown areas that haven’t been taken on yet and that adds to the allure. A mix of the jungly, overgrown and a bit dilapidated with the new, modern and renovated. It’s really a lovely place to go.
Admission is 500f per person. If you want to ride the zip line it’s an extra 500f. Archery is also extra. There’s a separate fenced-in area with a bouncy house, trampoline and other attractions, and that costs 2000/child to enter. They have a motorized “train” that touts the area, I’m not sure if that costs extra.
There is also a restaurant and bar area to eat, drink, listen to live music, perhaps dance or talk with friends or even play some foosball. The food is quite good, albeit a bit expensive. It’s a stylish open area, appropriate...
