Raro Safari Tours & Concierge Desk — Attraction in Avarua

Had the potential to be 5 star!! Puntual on pick up. Great guides. Interesting stops. Lots of interior roads we wouldn't have explored as we are using buses. The tour itself was awesome.

However. It was advertised as lunch included online, and this was not the case on our tour. We were dropped in town for lunch and advised we could buy food from an extremely average bakery and coffee cart, which, thank goodness had smoothies, which the kids could have. The stop was 15 minutes and there was a playground which was really good for the kids to run around. Last time I was in Raro and lunch was included, it was a good picnic with rolls and fruit. The price would have been justifiable if the lunch was actually included as advertised. Or at least been able to be more prepared and bought some food with us, especially with having young kids and eating on time...

Was very very disappointed with the tour and was so looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it had rained so they didn’t take us up the mountain. Understand that you do not have control over the weather. So we drove a couple of different roads, saw the waterfall and two historical sites, which were nice and the guides were very informative. But there were 10 of us crammed, like sardines, into the back of the truck. It was so uncomfortable. We then went into town where you could buy a coffee or something at the bakery. And you paid $100 for it!!! Not even a bottle of water offered. So over priced, it is such a shame, the guides knowledge was the best part of it. If they weren’t able to give you the complete tour, they should have cancelled or rescheduled it. And come on guys, 8 maximum in the back of that truck. So...

We were booked for this safari but due to horizontal rain and 60kmph winds we rung them in the morning and rescheduled for the afternoon at 1pm as they advised the weather was improving. As per the attached video it didnt. They called at 11:30am and advised we would be picked up 500m from our Villa in 15 minutes. I discussed with the lady that we were booked on other activities and couldnt attend the following day being our last day in Raro. She advised that I needed to email for a refund as she only does bookings. I emailed and the following day after any opportunity to undertake this activity had passed they advised that there was no refund due to it being...
