Food and observatory was amazing! Perfect pit spot on the way to our destination! Highl recommend the rainforest trail!
We had carne en salsa Casado and my daughter had chicken nuggets . We also had strawberry smoothies and watermelon smoothies. It was incredible! And the lady that served us was the owner herself and she was VERY sweet and kind. Her food was delicious. 💚💚💚 loved seeing all of the hummingbirds and different species of butterflies. Price wasn't bad at all. $10 per person (kid free) to visit the butterfly, hummingbird sanctuary, and do the trail all together . Very worth it. I'll pay that every time to a small family's business that serve quality food and care about it their nature.
The trail isn't that hard. It's just a bit slippery but we love a good adventure! It felt incredibly natural to do a hike in a beautiful rainforest to get the best authentic experience. If my 5 year old can do it,...

I could have stayed in the hummingbird garden for hours. There were so many little beauties fluttering about. We took the short walk to the butterfly conservatory and fell even more in love!
Lastly, we stepped into the cafe to try their coffee wine and get to-go cups of coffee. We also purchased a bag of grounds to bring home with us. It is the most amazing coffee I've ever tasted. I hope I can buy it online some how!!!
Totally worth the $10 for a nice break between San...
Read moreThe staff was friendly and attentive, but the facility is definitely in need of some serious renovation. Aside from the hummingbird feeders—where you can spot four or five different species—there isn’t much else to see.
The butterfly garden is poorly maintained. Apart from the striking blue morpho, you’ll only find a handful of other species, and even those are represented by just one or two individuals.
The walking paths offer a simple loop through the surrounding forest, but similar trails are available for free in many other locations.
Restrooms are in dire need of an upgrade as well.
Taking everything into account, I wouldn’t consider this visit worth more...
