I agree with other reviewers. Pretty, quiet, small beach that is one of the southernmost beaches in the Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. Pros: good for children with calm waves, good sand at low tide, clean, quiet without many people. Cons: water is murkier than most beaches, there is no beach at high tide (check tide chart), very limited parking and can be difficult to turn around.

Un lugar excelente para pasar el día no se aceptan mascotas como es parque se paga 1300 colones y los adultos no pagan se puede llevar refrigerio eso si llevarse la basura.

This beach is awesome! Great swimming for our young kids (far south end near cove), just enough waves to be fun for them. Very few people, bathrooms and showers available. Avoid high tide and you’ll have plenty of sand and few people. You do need to pay the entry fee, parking is free but limited. No food or anything for purchase so pack a snack

Great beach!!!! You have to go during low tide otherwise you will not get any beach and only the rocks. You will literally get washed out 😂! Other than that, the beach is not usually too busy and is a great place to unwind and relax. There is tons of shade if you do not want to be in the sun and the waves are not too bad here so it is a great place to swim. There is also a little stream of fresh water (beware of crocodiles) but its a great place to wash off...
