I think it’s closed really. Gate was closed so we got out to check and a lady came out Last IG post is from 2022. (We went March 2025) Yes lots of plants but it doesn’t look like anyone is carry for them. Bathrooms don’t work No other animals than a timid Chihuahua in a cage. 😢

Excellent break for Orchid- and Nature-lovers when traveling between San Jose and the Caribbean coast along Route 32.

Bonito lugar. Un poco pequeño. Muy buenas atención se puede ver cantidad de plantas... Y animales e insectos. Está cerca de la 32 y también está sobre ruta a otros destinos turísticos por lo cual no hay perdida para llegarle. Vale la pena ir y salir de la rutina.

A nice option for stopping when driving between La Fortuna and Puerto Viejo, giving you a chance to stretch your legs. Large variety of plants and a well developed gravel path with lots of twists and turns. $10 per person....
