This place is really worth a visit! We feel lucky to have ended up here. (Bella Vista was the third coffee farm that I contacted about a visit/tour in the region and the other two did not answer my inquiry.) Our guide was the owner himself, he was very kind and shared interesting details, happily answered all our questions. We learned a lot about how coffe is grown, harvested and processed further, and we were invited to enjoy a cup of coffee at the end. Which was the BEST cup of coffee that we found in Costa Rica so far, after more than two weeks of travelling around and tasting coffee wherever we could! Perfectly balanced, long-lasting taste... we took a few bags of beans home, to share with friends :)

Had a great tour here with a group. We were the only ones at that time so we got a private tour. It was raining so they took us out in the truck instead of walking which was nice of them. We were looking for something less touristy and this definitely fit the bill. Beautiful landscape and view, interesting information, and a great cup of coffee at the end! Great location close to San Jose as well. Make sure to bring cash to pay - they usually have a card reader but it was broken when we went. You can reach out on Whatsapp to reserve a time in advance and then pay in person.

This tour was great! We contacted Eric via WhatsApp to coordinate a time for our tour, he gave a really authentic tour of the coffee farm that has been in his family for four generations. We got to see the fields, taste the coffee fruit, learn about the production process, and taste the delicious coffee. We bought so many bags of the delicious coffee to bring home! The tour was in English and we were able to pay in USD. Plan to pay in cash.

A delight for the people searching a less touristy experience! Our whole family cannot recommend this place enough, and the coffee! Having Mr. Erick, the actual owner of the farm, guide us through the plantation grounds and the mill was a very personal and warm experience. The explanation was very interesting and clear for all of us from the stroll arround the plantation till the final tasting of their amazing coffee in the showroom. Would love to return someday during the harvest season. They have a small, very tastefully designed exhibiton of old photographs and asortment of...
