This is one of my best experiences in Costa Rica. This tour is a must do for all coffee lovers and curious minds. Dennis is a coffee master & connoisseur, his tour and information were detailed & informative. This is definitely an educational tour where you leave with so much information on the coffee making process from the seed to the final outcome. The tasting taught me a lot too & I enjoyed talking about the different types of coffee and industry in general. This cooperative and ethical supply chain is an eye opener. Dennis is really the best! Make sure to buy some coffee, the favourite ones you like after the tasting. They’re sooo good, you want to take them back with you & remember the great times in Costa Rica when you drink your cup. Highly recommended.

Great tour given by Daniel! I was able to email him about setting up a tour for the family on the weekend. He responded quickly with several options. The price was very reasonable. It was easy to find with the directions link he sent. Daniel gave a very through explanation of each step of how coffee is processed. It was really fascinating! We got to see all the different parts of the processing plant. The tour of course ended with a tasting of several different kinds of their coffee and further explanations of the proper way to drink coffee. We were able to buy their products at the end of the tour including coffee liquor and honey. All of which made great gifts for the holidays! Thank you Daniel for a great experience!

An absolute must. Dennis has perfected the art of the tour and delivers very interesting information with a good mix of humour and audience participation thrown in. I love coffee but had never given much thought as to how it is grown and harvested. The tour takes you from the growing of the coffee beans through every step of the process to the finished product where you get to sample some of the high quality coffee grown right here at Diría. There is much more than coffee being grown here though, and a lot of work that protects the environment and the people which is a really great thing to see. My advice is to REALLY listen to what you are told if you want to stand the chance of winning a bag of coffee too!

This coffee tour was hands down one of the best experiences of my trip to Costa Rica! From start to finish, it was informative, relaxing, and just an overall great time. The highlight was definitely our guide, Dennis—he was so passionate and engaging, making the whole process of coffee production (from harvesting to roasting) super interesting and fun.

The views from the coffee farm were absolutely stunning, and sitting back with a fresh cup of coffee while taking it all in was such a peaceful experience. The entire team was so welcoming and made the tour feel really special.

If you're in the Tamarindo area, this is 100% worth the drive! Plus, the nearby town is adorable and perfect for a quick stop before or after the tour. Dennis gave us a great recommendation for a locally owned restaurant — this ended up being our favourite meal of the trip. Highly recommend this to any coffee lover or anyone just looking for a unique and relaxing experience...

We were a group of 10 people, including one teenager and we had a great time! It was a 1.5 hours drive from Coco Beach where we were staying. The tour cost us $21 pp and our tour guide was Wagner aka Shuga (not Sugar, but Shuga haha). Our tour started off with a sampling of their coffee and then we were off to walk the entire plantation. We saw the entire development of the coffee bean, as well as many fruit trees and vegetables. It was so much fun! My husband was able to pull out a yucca for us, we tasted fruits directly from the source and even saw worms used for compost. Shuga then terminated our tour and gave us the MOST delicious iced coffee/milk drink and cookies. After, we were all starving and Shuga recommended we visit Rancho Doña Elena's in Hojancha (only 5 minutes away from Diria Coffee) for dinner. It was delicious! I would recommend Diria Coffee Tour to anyone who...

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Whether you are a coffee fanatic, interested in the process, or just looking for an activity for the day, this tour is a MUST!!!!

Our tour guide Dennis was fantastic. He was able to answer any and all questions our group had, while also keeping everyone entertain and included!!!

It is one thing to be "talked at" on a tour, but this tour actually has you interact with the different parts of the process!!! To see, hear, feel, taste, and smell makes the whole process so much more interesting and impactful. And, at the end, you're given a certificate for completing the tour!

I cannot rave this place enough. If you have a chance, go do it!!! You'll be supporting a local business and small, local farmers as this is a farming co-op. Thank you guys for such an amazing...
