Cascadas Gracie Falls — Attraction in Jacó

Very little water flow, but a nice waterfall. On a well kept quite rock road with farmland and some homes as you get closer. Someone added a knotted rope that was in good shape and I was able to use to climb up. It was still fairly dangerous. I was there in May, I imagine the water volume changes quite drastically. The fence has been opened so you can park in a small area and cross the river to the falls. The river was very mild while I was there but imagine it may get impassable if there’s rain. These falls were created on during the storm that flooded Jacó on October 18, 2022 and caused a landslide where the falls are now located. My brother and I witnessed the landslide and new falls! We "named" them after my brother's granddaughter, who was born on the same day!👶 UPDATE: 1/6/2023, The falls got fairly small by the end of the dry season but continued to flow.
