Las Hornillas — Attraction in La Fortuna

We went for a day visit. The walking area is pretty cool but similar to Yellowstone. We really enjoyed the warm mud and being able to spread it all over each other. The showers are a little bit vulgar but fine if you don't have kids with you. The volcano-powered sauna was pretty cool (actually very hot), with a gurgling vent in the floor. The lady at reception is rude. This is the first attraction I have been to in Costa Rica where I felt the customer service was nonexistent. I look for the positive in all encounters but found little to be grateful about here. I can deal with the waterfall tractor trip being a letdown but the sourpuss at reception was unacceptable. Do not waste your time and money on a place that does not appreciate...

It was ok! Just i thought there would be more to do and the place wouldn't smell so bad but since it is "volcanic" i guess it can smell like a bad fart lol or sulphur 🤷🏽‍♀️ not that amazed but the food there was great! From all bad food we had experienced...
