There is a shuttle service for the guests, you can leave your car at the parking lot, and take the shuttle to the beach, it's a 5 minutes ride through the Four Seasons hotel's facility, crossing the golf course. At the end of the ride there are showers and bathrooms, as well as a small grocery store. You then walk 100 meters over a wooden bridge to reach the beach, it's a very quiet beach as it is inside a bay, so there are no waves if it's not windy. There are many places to settle under a shadow and enjoy the beach. You can see birds, monkey, iguanas and other animals wandering around; watch out for your food! In the sea you can see multiple fishes, great for scuba diving, or just with a mask to see clearly, no need to go deep to see them. The hotel provides first aid assistance in case of some injury as we learn...

Such an amazing & must see beach. I only give it 4 stars because of the privatization of this beautiful public stretch. The hotel owns the land surrounding pappagayo peninsula & therefore you can’t access this peninsula directly by yourself. You need to park at there (free) parking & they take you by shuttle (free) to the beach spots. We went to swim at n’axas colo, which is the first stop & we were sooo happy to spend time there. So clean, calm, water is amazing, there are few boats & yachts that come into the peninsula. The sand is the most beautiful. There’s also wild nature behind the sea, as it’s a reserve. I saw birds, and small...

Crystal clear water, very minimal people (there was two other people out snorkeling, but that was it), and the staff is EXTREMELY meticulous about keeping this place clean, and all about preserving the nature in this area!! I have never been anywhere quite like this, and I have traveled MANY places around the world. This may possibly be the most beautiful beach and surrounding park I have EVER been too! If you’re in CR, make sure you stop here to observe one of the purest, unspoiled beaches in the world!

Only accessible by resort van (there’s a parking area where they...
