Mirador de Orosi — Attraction in Paraíso

I took a bus here from Cartago. The bus fare is supposed to be CRC610 per way but because I can't speak Spanish, I was shortchanged and was charged about CRC800, which disappointedly I only realised it much later.

Mirador de Orosi is a viewpoint for Orosi, which overlooks the small town of Orosi. It's a family get-together weekend place with picnic and BBQ facility. It's free of charge with clean toilets.

Apart from the nice scenic view, there's nothing much for me. I took 5 to 10 mins of slow walk before I decided to leave the place. I won't mind going if it's near to town but I guess once is more...

Absolutely fantasy views from this park. It's free, no entrance fee! Some of the bests views we've found in the country. It has many picnic tables with grills to cook your food. Bathrooms available at the entrance. Good parking in a shaded parking lot with a guard to watch the cars. Well maintained. Can be very crowded on weekends, especially Sundays, but you have it all to yourself during the test of the week. If you know where to look you can see the historic ruins of the church in Ujarras down...

Located in the Cartago province, Mirador Orosi offers a panoramic overview of the Orosi Valley. The admission is free, and you are free to take your food and beverages, alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

The place is super well kept, restrooms are clean, there's picnic tables and grills, all ready for a BBQ with family and / or friends. There are slides and climber park games for kids and trails to walk too.

An excellent place for outdoors...
