Rancho Monterey — Attraction in Parrita

My fiancee and I are visiting for the first time to Costa rica from canada, staying in jaco, upon looking for a place to go horseback riding on the beach I came across many places, Rancho Monterey was close but had little reviews. We decided to give it a try and I'm super glad we did! The tour was amazing, the horses weren't skin and bones,these people care about their animals and take good care of them. They speak english well, you can tell they take pride in their beautiful business with their horses and they're whole hearted! Very safe and very knowledgeable people. We will go back everytime...

I don't think there is anything that could have made this experience better! Diego was an exceptional guide; his expertise and attention to detail definitely exceeded my expectations. The horses are very well trained; by the end of the ride I had already fallen in love with my horse, Gato! This is a family owned and operated business that truly cares about providing the best experience. If you are looking at other riding excursions in the area, just save yourself the time and book this one; you will not regret it! ...
