Kindred Spirit Cloud Forest — Attraction in Piedades Norte

Thank you to the graceful souls that inspired & created such a wonderous place to be on this planet earth. Jane Goodall and the essence of gracefulness, gratefulness and connectedness to earth is felt here.

I thank all the great people "On the Path of Heroes" and I salute the life work of the wonderful couple Philip & Janet. Its pure. Its peace. Its bliss. Its really helped to connect me to earth and to myself.

If you are a nature lover and care for the earth. You will feel so blessed to visit here and spending time here the greatest benevolence one may be bestowed. It has been very connecting to the Heart of the Earth here for me. I felt as thought I could hear the earth. Feeling the earth on my toes in a mud bath, experiencing the moss and seeing such wonderous birds and being greeted by sooo many flowers.

I am able to hear more hear more from within and the sounds and vibes of the Kindred Spirit Rain Forest. Since I have explored Costa Rice, this is the first place I experienced a deep real and true freedom. Its so natural here and so loved and preserved. This is such a lush and inspired place.

Its such a graceful place and you will be refreshed, rejuvenated, learn so much, connect deeper with yourself. This is the best place to be for my creative journey & connecting to myself within and to my purpose. I will be so blessed to serve the planet and earth in any way possible. My friend and I spent a weekend at Kindred Spirit. Janet and Philip are the nicest people and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They showed us around in the cloud forest. From their house you can either discover the rain forest on your own, or with them. We were lead by Janet and Oscar through the forest and to their little lake. We had 2 day tours and a little night walk. The highlight was to see a Quetzal couple who are nesting in one of the bird houses Philip and Janet provided especially for Quetzals. But there are many more species to discover. I also enjoyed filming the hummingbirds on Janet’s flowers. If you want to discover on your own, you can follow the paths which are marked with handmade signs. The paths are named by their Eco heros. They put a lot of thought and love in their piece of rain forest. On top Janet cooked for us delicious meals! We also loved to hear about their life and experience (with people and animals) in other parts of the world! Such a beautiful property and forest. It is by reservation only and we happened to be the only visitors when we were there. Lots of trails. Make sure to get a good picture of the map or you can reserve a guide. We lost the trail a couple of times but there is so much to see no matter how much terrain you cover or which trails you choose. Stopping and looking can reveal even more interesting things to see then at first glance.They provide walking sticks which kept us from slipping numerous times. Janet even offered insect spray, water and snacks for our hike. A much more authentic experience than Monteverde and easy access if you follow Janet’s instructions.
