My wife and I visited this wonderful place on May 5th. Roberto and Rex, his dog (very much a big part of the tour) were great fun and the tour was very educational We learned all about how you raise butterflies at his farm, how he came to be doing this and all other small details you would never think of. His farm is great and Rex really makes this tour over the top. It's fun having Rex there for comedy relief. I enjoyed having the Morpho caterpillars on me hat and nose along with the butterflies. A must see if you are in the Northern Plain...

Roberto (and Rex!) were fantastic guides and it was truly fascinating learning not only about the butterfly process, but also Roberto's story and how he got to this point. Really fun and super beautiful place. As others have mentioned, Roberto only speaks Spanish, therefore Google Translate is used - but this is not to the detriment of the tour whatsoever, it doesn't mess with the flow and he really interjects great humour into the tour. Absolutely recommended...
