Absolutely worth a trip. We drove to Lubernice and parking was a bit of a squeeze. The walk down is tough. Would definitely not recommend sandals as the last section is all loose rock. The beach is a pebble beach so we were glad we had water shoes. The water here seemed to be a lot colder than other beaches around Cres. Especially in the cave. We stayed in the cave for about 10 minutes before we got too cold. It's very easy to get into. No gear needed. You swim to the left and through a small section where it looks too dark ahead. But keep going and you can stand eventually. Watch out for rocks and let your eyes adjust and you'll be able to see everything clearly. We went at low tide late in the afternoon and had the cave to ourselves which was really cool. The walk back up is really hard so definitely bring water and snacks to fuel yourself. The drive into Lubernice is also very narrow and windy so take that...

We went here with a tour package that started in Rabac. Visiting the Blue Caves is something you have to do with a good weather, and unfortunately it was a bit cloudy and only ~ 22 degrees Celsius when we went, which resulted in some seriously blue toes. Swimming into the caves was exciting, if a bit scary. Diving out of the cave beneath a wall was definitely a highlight! I would however definitely not recommend this place to small children (under 12 probably). Even if the kids are strong swimmers, the caves were quite scary and you had to be on your guard at all times not to bump into a wall or scrape your leg while swimming. Overall a fun and exciting experience, but we would probably have enjoyed it more if the...

Nice beach and very beautiful cave. Better in the afternoon - to get stronger light effect from the sun. The entrance is quite hiden - right side from the beach when whatching from sea. You can get there by swimming and walking inside. The ceeling is quite low in the first half, but spacious hall opens right after - water deep around 1 meter and high ceeling. It is posssible to get in/out through underwater entrance too, but better to "test“ from inside first - the light will be your gide. One star is missing just due to heavy traffic done mainly by big turist boats - they will force you to...

We went today to the beach near the Blue cave. We went by foot from Lubenica, it was pretty hard trail for me, especially TO the beach. But it was totally worth it. The beach is very clean, there were some people, but not many. Enter to the cave is easy, you can swim there without diving (but there is also another enter where you have to dive). It's better to have light with you. Inside it's beautiful and scary :). Great spot to propose, obviously :). The trail back up is longer, but not harder. Took us 1h 20m. Please do not underestimate the need of water, there is none.
