The evening started with a warm welcome and the starter. Detailed but not excessive explanations and background information (origin of the non-home-made products) were given for all wines and dishes. Ante was always available to answer questions, but was very careful not to put himself in the foreground - a perfect innkeeper!
The location corresponds to 100 percent to the homepage and the pictures. Often there are only beautified pictures on the web, not here!
We all enjoyed the food very well. The quality and the presentation were excellent, nothing more can be said about it - our conclusion is so simple.
The wines themselves are of the highest quality and made using modern methods. Each of the wines has an enormous amount of its own character and taste. Whether these properties meet personal taste is individual and therefore my opinion here: A wine connoisseur only drinks wines that he personally likes!
We, and all the other guests, were treated more like friends. In addition, a nice location with very good food - dear Ante: Thank you for the nice evening!

Read moreIt’s hard to put into words the hospitality that was shown to our group at the visit to this fantastic winery. Andro was the most gracious host and so informative and helpful from the moment we arrived. The wines were spectacular, spanning the gamut of white to rose to Orange to reds and for good measure they also have Olive oil they produce as well. To start the food is all from local producers and also the farm itself. They are happy to share the connection with all of the other farms and their relation to the food you try which is the perfect compliment for the tasting. We appreciated the humble and yet incredible attentiveness of our host. We left with a car load of wine because it was excellent and that is the bottom line. They only produce about 25k bottles per year and that has always been the case. I cannot say enough positive things about this place except you will likely have some of the best wine in Dalmatia and also the best hospitality from some outstanding wine makers...
Read moreWe had the most incredible experience at Rak Winery and highly recommend visiting. Andro was extremely attentive, friendly, and informative. The setting was perfect, every wine we tried included in the wine tasting was delicious and the cheese and meat platters were 10/10 (all local produce either homemade by the family themselves or nearby) with very generous portions. The olive oil produced at Rak winery and homemade bread was also to die for! We learnt a lot from Andro about the wines themselves and the wine making process. We loved every second of our visit, so much so that my partner decided to propose there (instead of another planned location) because everything was so perfect! Andro then very generously acknowledged this special moment, on top of all the incredible hospitality shown already. We can’t wait to...
