Compared to other castles in Croatia, this one falls under better preserved category, so why 3 stars?
Because of wasted potential! Don't get me wrong, if you are nearby then by all means come and see this beauty (just check online whether it's opened or not, sometimes it's closed for visitors), just don't expect too much content inside. There are plans to further enrichment of historical items inside, but for now there are only few rooms available.
I simply must give praise to cute girl working there, she was full of historical facts and really knew how to be informative while not being pushy.
I will revisit Janković castle in the future and hopefully city or whoever is responsible will invest some time and money to give this castle look and respect...
