Read moreAfter many years coming to this restoraunt and always where very satisfied and glad to come back, unfortunately something either in the management or kitchen is changed for worse. Today we ordered mushroom soups, fillet steak, pasta with mushrooms and wild game goulash, nothing was good as before, steak was cut from two pieces with greasy parts not cleaned, undercooked and without tase, mushroom sauce was very watery and also tasted bad. Wild game goulash was made from beef not deer. All in all very bad experience after years of coming here and enjoying excellent dishes. Staff was very friendly but that cannot make up terrible work in the kitchen. We are locals and if this is the standard they will keep now, unfortunately they will not see us again which is bad considering beautiful nature around the place. Even the home made strudel and pancakes which they have been known for long time are not the same and overall eating here now is not work the money. My advice to the management is to reconsider the kitchen staff and ingredients used. I hope to see this place working as before....
Read moreA much longer hike then anticipated. The signage needs recalculation as several parallel paths exist. Some trails much easier than the other! We were told at the start going up, their is only one way up. Yet, going down, we were told there is a much easier way down (or up for that matter) parallel to the path we've just taken up.
We strongly suggest you ask very specifically which path is easier as they say it takes only 3 hours either way. It took us (average hikers) over 4 hours up with minimal 5 min. water breaks. Knowing that it's somewhat easier going down hill, we thought will make it down in 3 and 1/2 hours. However, the parallel path only took us 2:30 which is way to much of a difference considering it's just about the same length. It's just much easier legwork.
Even though this peak is slightly higher and the weather was great, their is much less of gran views as the forest is all around you the whole way up and down. Only the top reveals stunning...
