Etnoland has previously only been open for group visits, but has just started opening for visits by individuals.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we were even offered a little glass of their local rakija to taste at the start of our visit.
Whilst it is not a very big theme park, it is still worth visiting. The multimedia display in particular was immersive and beautifully produced. Opa's house was very interesting and gave a glimpse of how life was lived here generations ago.
They also have great souvenirs for sale - including bottles of their rakija, and very tasteful and good quality gifts at very reasonable prices - I bought two charming little manicure kits for only €4 each.
There is a spacious outdoor dining area where we enjoyed a delicious platter of local cheeses and hams and a glass of wine.

Read moreDefinition of Etnoland: Hospitality is more than just providing a comfortable place to stay or a good meal; it is about creating an atmosphere where guests feel genuinely welcomed and valued. The essence of true hospitality lies in the warmth and kindness extended to others, making them feel at home, no matter where they are. When Josko open the doors to others, he is not just sharing his space, but also a piece of himslelf. A friendly smile, a sincere greeting, and the effort to understand and meet the needs of the guests are the small gestures that create lasting impressions. It’s these simple acts of kindness that turn a visit into a memorable experience of Etnoland. Moreover, hospitality is about creating connections. It bridges cultures, builds relationships, and fosters a sense of community. Hvala Puno Josko and the...
Read moreWe had an incredible experience visiting Etnoland with a group of 40-45 people from Estonia. Our tour was led by the master of the house, who introduced us to the traditional way of life in this specific area. What really stood out was how he conducted the tour—he did it with utmost vividness, humor, and interest. It was quite theatrical, but incredibly engaging, capturing everyone's attention from start to finish.
During the experience, we were introduced to their own cherry liquor and smoked ham, which were both exceptional in taste. Later, we were offered a traditional lunch that was simply outstanding. The warmth and hospitality shown by their family were truly heartwarming. Our whole group was thoroughly satisfied and left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this unique and enriching experience!
