Rodna kuća Nikole Tesle — Attraction in Grad Gospić

I was deeply touched when I visited Tesla’s childhood home, which has been turned into a museum. His contributions to the progress of humanity are immense and extraordinary, a genuinely selfless and genius soul. Before he realized his true mission here on Earth, Tesla was plagued by addictions such as gambling and drinking. While walking in a beautiful Croatian forest, he had a brilliant vision and was healed; he described that moment as being struck by a thunderbolt of Wisdom… Tesla then gave up all his worldly addictions to succeed in life… From that day on, he became his best self and created so many patents that the roof of his house was too small to display all of his creations! There is a beautiful church built by his father right next to his house, but it is closed...

Wonderful, creative, and well thought out memorial museum! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds, church, cemetary, and birth house / childhood home of Nikola Tesla and reading all the detailed information provided. We also enjoyed the interactive exhibits on the second floor, the short documentary film, and the “Colorado Springs” lightbulb / electricity demonstration at the end! Very moving experience and a nice tribute to this incredible man from this very small village, who changed the world as we know it. Highly recommended!
