Although its a museum of Krapina neanderthals, is actually much more. The museum showcases the history, human evolution and how we got to this point. The exhibition are very well made as curated. The building and the surroundings are amazing!

I highly suggest it to everyone. It’s a great place to see something new, learn and be out in the nature.

The tickets are cheap. It’s 10 EUR per person and 5 EUR for kids. Kids up to 3 years of age have free admission and there’s even a family ticket that covers 2 adults and 2 kids for 20 EUR.

Absolute must see if you are nearby. Very good museum with realistic and educational display. The video at the entrance is something you don't want to miss because it beautifully portrays their lives in a very realistic and in a way explicit way. I dint mind some mild violence and nudity, its part of our nature after all. The display is indeed impressive which i enjoyed very much with beautiful time line and evolution to modern man. You can see the big effort invested in the museum. Nothing is always perfect so i have to say that the offices building near the parking lot looks quite bad...
