Marotti Windsurf Center — Attraction in Grad Opatija

As a child I tried to learn windsurfing on my own - and failed. Last summer I decided to try again, but this time with the help of instructors. Thanks to the experienced staff and the special equipment suited for beginners, I now have a new summer hobby.

What I loved the most was the step-by-step approach. After learning the basic theory of wind and sailing, the students get to test their understanding on the land - using a windsurf simulator. Once you're ready, you go out into the sea, accompanied by boat at all times.

Feeling safe and taken care of, I was able to experience one of the best feelings in the world for the very first time - the wind in my sail. 💙
