Volosko — Attraction in Grad Opatija

A charming and picturesque little fishing port close by Opitija and easily reachable by public bus from either Rijeka or Lovran. I took the early morning bus from Lovran and then walked back via the Lungomare path that hugs the coastline, The route offers a myriad of lovely seascape views across the Adriatic. It took me a morning of unhurried walking and photograohy to explore Volosko's back streets and small harbour front, with a stop for a double expresso at a harbourside cafe.
